Today, Propak’s Ft. Smith, AR corporate office participated in the American Heart Associations “Go Red for Women.” Propak has supported various charities like American Heart Association, Save the Children and the United Way for more than 15 years. Each year, the annual campaign is sponsored by Company executives at Propak and a group of volunteers who plan and execute a day of fundraising activities and donations.
American Heart Association is a charity that is dedicated to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Donations to American Heart Association help provide public health education in various ways.
Employees were asked to wear red on February 6th and make a donation of their choice to Go Red for Women. “Sponsoring this cause was both fun and rewarding,” shared Lori Hooten, Controller. Propak agreed to match all employee donations and treated participating employees with snacks and festivities.
Propak thanks all their employees for their participation and looks forward to continuing to help and serve the community in 2015 with their Propak Cares Campaign. “It is important that we continue to partner with great causes like the Go Red for Women to promote a healthy lifestyle” said Phillip Langford, Senior Vice President of Logistics.
